This is how the garden grows
Last week the rain finally arrived here. Not a huge amount of rain, but enough to send the entire garden into a frenzy. Plants are popping up, shooting out and bursting into bloom all over the place - even plants that shouldn't be popping up, ie weeds. Still, it's quite refreshing to see all this greenery everywhere, interspersed with glorious flowers.
These are photos of our flourishing veggie/herb patch. We are growing rocket, all sorts of lettuces, spring onions, peas, broccoli, coriander, parsley, chives and a lone silver beet.
Gorgeous daffodils from the bottom of the garden. Just look at that colour!
Hope your weekend is turning out great! xx

My Pet Gerbera
This is my new pet gerbera, named Scarlet. I picked her up from the hardware store yesterday, along with a pet passionfruit vine for my mother. Scarlet has an immaculate sense of style and is envied for her explosive wardrobe. She's very neat and tidy, and has already struck up a disagreement with well-known punk rocker GarLiK'd (below) over his messy dreads.
Above all, Scarlet is incredibly happy and positive, and has brightened my day already. xx
